Exchange Policy (Retail)
1) Warranty period differs between different models.
2) Accessories (purchased separately/with unit) comes with ONE (1) year warranty only.
3) Warranty period starts from the purchase date of your Garmin device.
4) One-to-one warranty exchange for unit is only applicable within the first SEVEN (7) days starting from the purchase date, applicable to Manufacturer’s defect. Packaging and original contents/accessories (including manuals) must be in good and complete condition.
5) Invoice/Receipt must be brought along for all warranty claim purposes. Otherwise, AECO reserves the right to reject all warranty claims.
6) Goods sold are neither RETURNABLE nor REFUNDABLE.
AECO Technologies Consumer Warranty Policy
Terms & Conditions (Repair/Replace)
1. Warranty covers manufacture defect and does not apply to human error such as,
a. Cosmetic damage or normal wear and tear, such as scratches, nicks and dents.
b. Consumable parts, such as batteries, unless product damage has occured due to a defect in materials or workmanship;
c. Damage caused by accident, neglect, abuse, misuse, liquids, flood, fire or other acts of nature or external causes;
d. Damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not an authorized service provider of Garmin/Ultrahuman/MyFirst;
e. Damage to a Product caused by using the same outside of the parameters prescribed by Garmin/Ultrahuman/MyFirst from time to time;
f. Damage to a Product that has been modified or altered without the written permission of Garmin/Ultrahuman/MyFirst;
g. Damage to a Product that has been connected to power and/or data cables that are not supplied by Garmin/Ultrahuman/MyFirst.
2. Warranty period is valid unless product has discontinued from repair services.
3. Extended warranty by AECO Technologies applies to the unit only. Accessories that come together in the box or purchase separately will be given 1 year warranty period from date of purchase.
4. Warranty claims have a 90 day warranty. Warranty period will be 90 days from collection date or follow the original purchase date, depending upon which is longer.
5. AECO is not responsible for the loss, or damage to customer’s data/accessory sent in, but are not limited to straps, bands, and screen protector.
6. The original customer copy of this service form must be presented when picking up the product. Alternatively, valid personal identification must be presented else AECO reserves the right to deny the collection of the service unit. The customer must contact AECO immediately if the customer copy of this service form is lost or stolen. AECO shall not be held responsible if a valid customer copy is presented for pickup.
7. Equipment received for service/repair by AECO shall be discarded if owner does not respond/collect/pay for the service repair within THREE (3) MONTHS after notification is given to the owner. AECO shall not be held liable for any items that are not collected within the period of 3 months or for the loss of this document.
8. Collection of the item can only be done at AECO’s premises upon full payment of any outstanding balances. Postage cost to customer‘s address shall be borne by customer.
9. All replaced parts/unit due to defect/damage/malfunction are not returnable to customer.
10. AECO reserve the rights to provide repair services/replacement for the service set. AECO will, at its option: (i) repair the Product using new parts or previously used parts that satisfy quality standards, (ii) replace the Product with a new Product or a refurbished Product that meets quality standards, or (iii) exchange the Product for a full refund of your purchase price. SUCH REMEDY SHALL BE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY.
11. Should repair/service time be delayed for unforeseen circumstances, AECO reserves the right to change the completion/collection date that AECO deem fit. AECO will not be held responsible for any claims or losses due to this delay. AECO will take every effort to ensure the repair/service time is kept to a minimum for customers’ convenience.
Garmin Service Unit Drop-Off for Online RMA
Terms & Conditions:
1. AECO solely acts as a 3rd party provider for drop off and pick up of Garmin service units. AECO is not responsible for any loss, or damage to customer’s data/accessory sent in, but are not limited to straps, bands, and screen protector.
2. The original customer copy of this service form must be presented when picking up the product. Alternatively, valid personal identification must be presented else AECO reserves the right to deny the collection of the service unit. The customer must contact AECO immediately if the customer copy of this service form is lost or stolen. AECO shall not be held responsible if a valid customer copy is presented for pickup.
3. Collection of the item upon full payment to Garmin Malaysia of any outstanding balances. Postage cost to customer‘s address shall be borne by customer.
